How much should I expect to pay for insurance for a moped?

by Scooter Insurance on March 21, 2010

I am 20 years old, have a clean driving record, and will be taking a motorcycle safety class…any ballpark figures?

why would you want to insure a Moped? They’re legal to operate most places, with no registration required in most states. Unless it’s over 50cc, then you’ll need to register it. I have NO idea on Moped insurance, never heard of it before.

I am buying a 50 cc classic style moped and was wondering if I have to get my license and insurance.?
