Which is the best moped insurance for a de-resptricted scooter? Can you re-restrict a Vespa ET2?

by Scooter Insurance on January 30, 2010

I am buying a second hand Vespa ET2 and I am looking at insurance deals. However the moped has been deresticted and has made the insurance either very high or non agreeable (ie the company won’t insure it). Is there an insurance company that deal with modified bikes?

I don’t really care much for speed and de-restrictions. Is it possible to re-restrict a vespa so insurance can be cheaper again?

Thanks

carinsurance.yoll.net – try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.

How much do you pay for your scooter / moped insurance?
