If its for yourself, it depeds if your coming here to live, work or as a tourist. There is alot of things for your to look into.Driving licence requirements, and if you intent to ire a bike/trike as a tourist or buy a bike etc etc
Presuming your a UK citizen and have a full licence but zero no claims. It will depend on what bike you choose, i.e scooter,moped,motorcycle. depends on the CC size and if its a town bike, tourer,sports bike.
Fuel is about £1.16 a ltre
My Honda cb125 single costs:
MOT test – £25 for a year cover
road TAX- £15 for a year
insurance- third party fire n theft £70-£120 ( i pay £60)
tank of fuel- £15 and will do about 190miles
My kawasaki GT550 costs
MOT test- £25 for a year
road TAX – £50 for a year
insurance- 3rd party fire n theft £70-160 ( i pay £70)
Insurance price will vary on what bike and what insurnace catagory its in.
motorcycles are put into 3 taxtaion classes which you can find out on the DVLA website
