Scooter insurance????

by Scooter Insurance on January 28, 2010

im getting a new honda ps215i, its my first scooter should i go tpft for £225 or fc for £370. I would like some advice. Also any tips on good security for when i go out.

I would suggest getting fully comp, especially if you are buying a brand new scooter. Remember to make sure you check how much the excess is. A good place to get scooter insurance quotes is http://www.thebikeinsurer.co.uk (it’s like confused.com but just for bike). A good broker to try is Lexham Insurance http://www.lexhaminsurance.co.uk

If you don’t want your scooter to get stolen (who does?) then an alarm is a really good idea. Also get a strong lock and make sure you lock it to a fixed object where possible. For the best chain money can by, check out Almax… http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk

I hope you enjoy your new scooter ;)

first scooter, first time on the road..FULLY COMP,for deff…..as for security u want an alarm fitted[even remote starting for less than £25]…a small u lock for short temp parking[poping into the hairdressers] and for overnight parking a 5ft welded link chane and a big lock..always wrap it around something solid…
